Interested in becoming a volunteer tutor?

We are continuously recruiting and training volunteer tutors who:

  • are comfortable with the English language.

  • are flexible, compassionate and have a sense of humor.

  • can attend weekly sessions with an adult learner to help them on their journey to reach their learning goals.

  • would love to feel the pride and satisfaction of helping someone build confidence and new skills.

Share your skills

We are looking for facilitators to offer classes that benefit community members in their skills development. 

You will be asked to provide a brief outline for the classes you would like to offer.

Get involved and make a difference in your community

Board Directors should have a passion for lifelong learning and live or work in the Athabasca area.

Meetings are once per month in the evening from September to June.
